Our tour will begin with a captivating briefing about the volcanic islet's geology, plant and animal species, nature reserve's rules, and safety. Our knowledgeable Guide and Skipper will then lead you to your designated RIB boat for a 10-minute sea travel to the Islet.
As you arrive at the Islet's harbor, get ready to disembark for an hour-and-a-half tour to explore the amazing volcanic marvel and its notable features. The islet's rocky terrain, adorned with endemic Azorean Heather, Firetree, and other flora species, creates an ideal habitat for wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for birds such as Buzzards, Turnstones, Sanderlings, Little Egrets, Whimbrels, Canaries, Wagtails, and Sally lightfoot crab colonies. You're sure to be in awe of the stunning sights around you.
Our guide will keep you informed throughout the tour, answering any specific questions you may have. At 4:15 PM, we will embark on a breathtaking boat tour around the Islet, followed by our return to the Marina for check-out.
