Experience Sesimbra
Sesimbra is becoming more and more popular among travelers from all over the world. With its long-stretched sandy beaches and the proximity to the beautiful Serra da Arrábida natural park, visitors have a lot to choose from. You can visit the city on a day trip from Lisbon, which is only 40 minutes away.
Diving is one of the top things to do, and it’s one of the best spots in all of Portugal for diving and snorkeling. If you decide to go scuba diving, be ready to explore an amazing underwater world with caves, wrecks and beautiful reefs all around you.
If you rather stay above sea level, you can embark on one of the fun boat tours, go dolphin watching or even fishing. After the fresh sea breeze, you’ll be happy to know that this city is a true seafood paradise.

Watersports
Regarding watersports, our big news is the
AquaJump Park right in front of P
raia da California, in the center of the town. The Nature Park of Arrábida is the ideal spot for active nature lovers. For the ones who like being under the sea level, we have
snorkeling or
diving tours.
If you prefer to stay above the sea level, we recommend the
coasteering for the most adventurous ones and a
kayak or
SUP tour to explore the coastline in a more relaxed way.
Enjoy some of the freshest seafood of Portugal
The city is known for its great seafood and fresh fish. Being historically strongly connected to the fishing industry, it’s normal that you can find the freshest fish and seafood. We recommend restaurant Praia Mar in the city center for delicious meal of seafood and grilled fish. A more affordable and basic, but equally delicious option is Formiga.
Whatever you decide to do during your holiday, we promise you will love this part of the Lisbon area! Raw nature and a lot of fun are guaranteed! For any further tips or requests, feel free to contact us anytime.
