The ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) is probably impacting your travel plans. We’d like you to know that we’re here to help. Most countries have already reopened borders, but some countries have a list of countries that they don’t recommend traveling.
To stay up to date about the situation in your destination and if your country of residence considers your destination a high-risk country, which may imply mandatory quarantine when you get back home, we encourage you to check the World Health Organization (WHO), and local government authorities.
At SeaBookings, in response to these uncertainties, we’ve adjusted our cancellation policy. We want you to be able to plan your holidays without worrying about eventual cancellation costs. Our cancellation policy now covers COVID-19-related cancellations, so you can book with confidence.
What is SeaBookings’ cancellation policy?
Uncertain times need flexibility in holiday planning. Your peace of mind is what we aim for when booking with us. We’ve agreed with our local tour providers that we’ll make our cancellation policy more flexible. With the vast majority of experiences available on SeaBookings, we offer our new temporary flexible cancellation policy.
During the coming times, while the pandemic is still around, your bookings are 100% refundable if canceled at least 24 hours before the start of the experience. Cancellations within 24 hours of the activity start time are non-refundable.
How do I cancel my booking made through SeaBookings?
To cancel your booking because your travel plans have changed due to the coronavirus, feel free to simply send and email to [email protected] or [email protected]. We’ll analyse your booking and confirm the cancellation and process the refund as soon as possible.
How can I help SeaBookings in these challenging times?
If your travel plans have been cancelled due to Covid-19, instead of cancelling, we can also change the date of your booking to another date or assign you a voucher. By doing so, we avoid additional transaction fees due to refunds and you help SeaBookings’ and our local partners’ businesses.
Are there any exceptions to the new flexible cancellation policy?
Some bookings may also be subject to exceptional cancellation policies. If so, this will be mentioned in the description of the experience. Usually, these special policies apply to experiences with a higher value, such as private events or boat charters.
