Coronavirus (COVID-19) cancellation policy

Now that the pandemic has been officially declared to an end in most countries, we're back to our regular Cancellation Policy. We want you to be able to plan your holidays without worrying about eventual cancellation costs, so, in a nutshell: you can cancel for free if you cancel at least 7 days before your booked experience.

What is SeaBookings’ Payment Policy?

When you book a sea experience through the Website, SeaBookings collects your payment information and processes your payment as described under “Payment Processing” in our Terms of Service. SeaBookings accepts the following credit cards: Mastercard, Visa and American Express. You can also pay using iDeal and Paypal, among others. There is no charge or service fee for processing payments. A payment is required to make place a booking booking request, this may be a deposit or a full payment, depending on the payment policy of the local tour provider.

What is SeaBookings’ Cancellation Policy?

No refunds are available once a sea experience has commenced. Cancelling a booking can result in cancellation fees being applied. The general cancellation policy is as follows: If you cancel at least 7 days in advance of the scheduled departure of your sea experience, there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel between 3 and 6 days in advance of the scheduled sea experience, there is a 50% cancellation fee. When cancelling within 2 days of the scheduled departure, there is a 100% cancellation fee. 

The value of the transaction may be subject to taxes, duties, currency exchange or other fees, so there may be differences between the amount displayed on SeaBookings and the final amount charged to your bank account statement.

How do I cancel my booking made through SeaBookings?

To cancel your booking, feel free to simply send and email to [email protected] or [email protected]. We’ll analyse your booking and confirm the cancellation and process the refund as soon as possible. We'll always try to be as understanding as possible when a refund is requested due to a cancellation, but please understand that our local tour providers may have incurred in costs even before the tour.

Are there any exceptions to this cancellation policy?

Yes, some bookings may also be subject to exceptional cancellation policies. If so, this will be mentioned in the description of the experience. Usually, these special policies apply to experiences with a higher value, such as private events or boat charters.

When cancelling any booking you will be notified via email or telephone of the total cancellation fees. Gift Vouchers are non-refundable in all circumstances.
