Are you ready to discover scuba diving in Waikiki?

This experience lets certified divers and people who aren't certified divers dive. Discover Reef Scuba Diving near Waikiki Beach is the best thing to do with your family because this guided shallow dive is made for all levels of divers, whether they are certified or not; students; new divers; or divers who need to brush up on their skills. Divers are put into groups based on how much experience they have.

This way, we can make sure that no more than four non-certified divers are with a specialized dive instructor while certified divers have their own dive master or dive instructor. The diving school offers great PADI discovery programs and full diving services.

The teachers are the most skilled and well-known on the island. They will be right there with you to ask you to take part in a short lesson and show you how to use the four important skills you just learned. They will make sure you have everything you need to feel comfortable and ready for the ocean.
To take part in scuba diving activities, you need to fill out and pass a medical form.

If the medical form has "yes" answers, a doctor's written permission (via email or fax) must be shown before the diving trip. We recommend that you look over and fill out the medical form when you book so that a doctor's note can be gotten and the dive trips can be planned days ahead of time. On our discovery dives, both new and experienced divers visit two natural coral reefs that are full of the most interesting marine life.

We will choose between Angler Reef, Nautilus Reef, and Kewalo Pipe/Horseshoe Reef. Angler Reef is what's called "octopus heaven" because there are so many different kinds of interesting octopuses there. Spotted eagle rays and frogfish are also drawn to this reef. Nautilus Reef is where octopuses and big eels like to hang out. Kewalo Pipe, also called Horseshoe Reef, is home to large groups of barracuda and the biggest morays on the island and should be avoided. This is where they live.

You'll probably see sea turtles that are friendly, schools of rare Hawaiian fish, and lots of octopuses on your own. Don't worry, our crew will make sure you don't miss anything. They can find sea creatures from a long way away, which is pretty amazing.
Depending on the tour, you will leave from either Kewalo Basin Harbor or Maunalua Bay. We help people get to and from the harbor.
