Are you ready for an Aljezur River SUP Tour?
Join us for an exciting outdoor adventure surrounded by nature in the western Algarve. We will take you on a peaceful and relaxing paddleboard trip down the Ribeira de Aljezur River until we reach the beautiful Praia da Amoreira Ocean beach. This tour is perfect for all ages and is a great way to experience stand-up paddleboarding in a safe and easy-to-learn environment.
Our tour starts at around 3:00 PM at the Meeting point is in the parking lot near Taberna do Gabriel II, south entrance to Amoreira beach, but the exact time may vary depending on the tides. After getting all the equipment ready, we will provide you with a stand-up paddleboarding lesson, teaching you how to paddle, stand up, balance, turn, and maneuver the board. Then, we will begin our river trip starting from a narrow stream surrounded by trees and bushes, moving towards a wider area with fields where cattle come to feed.
As we paddle forward, the surroundings constantly change, and we will encounter wild berry bushes, salt marshes with mud banks, and plenty of fish that will jump out of the water as we silently paddleboard forward. As we approach the river beach, which is surrounded by tall dunes 500m behind Amoreira beach, the sound of breaking waves becomes louder and the smell of salt water intensifies, signaling our arrival at our destination.
This tour is ideal for birdwatching and seeing fish all around, making it a perfect activity for nature lovers. Children as young as 8 years old can join the tour, and they can go on the same board with an adult.
The tour includes a stand-up paddleboarding lesson, guided tour, equipment such as a stand-up board, paddle, wetsuit, buoyancy aid, and pictures of your session. The total activity time is approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes, with 2 to 2,5 hours of water time. We have ASI certified SUP instructors to ensure your safety throughout the tour.

Wat is inbegrepen

Alles wat je nodig hebt voor de SUP tour is inbegrepen: gids, SUP-board, paddle, wetsuit (als het koud is) en een leash;

Onze ervaren instructeurs leert je de belangrijkste dingen voordat je het water in gaat, dus er is geen eerdere ervaring vereist;

De gidsen zullen verbluffende foto's maken en sturen deze zonder extra kosten naderhand per e-mail;

Als je zin hebt in wat verfrissing, neem dan een duik in de kristalheldere zee;
