Are you ready for a North Coast Sunset Cruise in São Miguel?
Join us for a breathtaking sunset boat trip in Santa Iria Bay and Ponta do Cintrão, located in the charming city of Ribeira Grande. This experience will leave you in awe of the wild and rugged nature of the region, as we sail between bays and spot the wild marine life.
Our journey will begin in the picturesque fishing village of Rabo de Peixe, where we'll head eastwards along the coast. We'll pass through the stunning beaches of Ribeira Grande town, Santa Barbara beach and Monte Verde beach until we reach Portinho de Santa Iria. During this journey, we'll admire the impressive geological formations and explore the natural beauty of the region. You'll have the opportunity to witness several notable points such as Ponta do Cintrão, Ponta do Ermo, and the port of Santa Iria.
As we pause near the port of Santa Iria, you'll have the chance to appreciate the surrounding nature of what once was an important commercial port for the town and the island. The coastline is characterized by several promontories, such as Ponta do Ermo and Ponta do Cintrão, where we can explore arches and coastal caves. As the day draws to a close, the coastal area takes on incredible colours which are worth appreciating, and we'll pause for a toast.
On the return journey, we'll head towards the setting sun, crossing open seas back to the fishing village of Rabo de Peixe. You'll have the opportunity to enjoy the island's magical hour from a unique perspective, seen from the ocean. This tour is driven at a slow speed, allowing us to enjoy the colours, smells and tranquility of the end of the day.

Highly recommend are the morning trips, the earlier the better. In fact, normally there is less wind early in the morning and the sea is calmer, but the evening trips may give you a prettier light. It’s up to you. All trips are amazing 😉 This is a great tour at any time.
