We meet at Carter’s Cove Marina in Weems. All of our adventures begin with an introduction to the vessel, our beloved 36’ Columbia Galene, and a safety briefing. We depart from the marina and motor out of the harbor and into the Rappahannock River, where the sailing begins in earnest.
We depart just after sunset on sailing vessel Galene, which is outfitted with specific gear for cruising safely at night, and spend two hours sailing on the Rappahannock River with the moon as our guide. It is a totally new way to experience the river! Our boat fits up to 4 people and anyone from 10 years old are welcome to join us!
