This package is the perfect combination of two fun activities to do in Lagos: coasteering and SUP. You'll be amazed by this full-day of adventure in the Western Algarve! Book two in one and save some money for a drink after the experience! This full-day SUP and Coasteering will boost your adrenaline while exploring the Western Algarve. In fact, we call this pack "in Lagos" because most people stay in Lagos and use the shuttle service from Lagos (15€ per booking), but you'll actually be taken away from the lively city into the beautiful Natural Park of Costa Vicentina between Sagres and Lagos!
The SUP Tour
Become be a waterman or waterwoman for a day with this full-day sea experience. You start in the morning (9h45 in Raposeira, or 9h10 in Lagos) with a coastal SUP tour. This SUP tour will take place in a Natural Park far away from the busy touristic areas. The SUP experience will take about 3,5 hours, but no worries, there's time to rest on some secret beaches seem to be a "little piece of paradise".
If it's your first-time stand-up paddleboarding, then you are in for a treat! The ASI certified SUP Instructors will teach you the basics and all safety techniques on a brief beach class. SUP is a lot easier than surfing, you'll see you'll soon be standing on your SUP board that is big and stable. When you feel comfortable, you're ready to get into the water. You can enjoy impressive grottoes, rock formations and beaches closely while the guides take pictures for you.

Lunchbreak
Then, around lunchtime, everyone can go grab something to eat, or we can go together to a restaurant (lunch not included). We eat enough to give us energy for the afternoon but not too much as some excitement awaits!
The coasteering experience
At 14:45, you start our coasteering adventure, on a nearby spot. After getting geared up with a wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet and shoes, it's time to check the conditions and do a safety briefing. Then, you'll walk down to the water's edge and start your route exploring the coastline. You'll explore hidden beaches, impressive cliffs, rock formations and clear ocean waters. The coasteering will take about 3,5 hours too and it involves hiking, jumping off cliffs, climbing and swimming. You'll truly be exploring the coastline! You'll be swimming (short distances) in the sea and venture inside dark sea caves. The adrenaline will boost with the climbing and cliff jumping! We can even jump inside the grottoes! After all the action, you'll walk back along the coastal path for a great view while chatting about your adventure day. The experience usually finishes around 18:30.

And you'll also be learning about the marine environment and local traditions with the guides. This program is recommended for active people. If you want to make this program in 2 separate days, you can to book the activities separately. It's just one day of your holidays but the memories will last forever! And to show them back home, pictures and videos are included. Yes, our guides will do that for you and you'll receive them by email afterwards!

- Meeting point and time: at 9h45 at Raposeira (at our garage, next to "The Den" Café) or for pickups - at the Lagos Central Bus Station at 9h10 or let us know where you're staying if it's in between Lagos and Sagres. The price is 15€ per booking.

FAQ full-day adventure pack
What should I wear for this full-day experience?
All gear is included in the experience, so all you need is your bathing suit. And don’t forget sunscreen. Watches and jewelry should stay at home and for girls, it’s recommended to use a ponytail. For after the experience, you might want to have a towel and some dry/warm clothes.
Can I store my belongings while doing the tour?
You can store your belongings in your own (rental) car or with the guides, in their van. We recommend bringing as few things as possible. It's not recommended to bring cameras, but no worries, the guides will take some stunning pictures and send them to you per email!
Is this tour suitable for people who’ve never done coasteering or SUP before?
Yes, this sea experience designed for beginners. There will be a brief safety briefing and instructions prior to each experience.
Is there any required fitness level for this tour?
You don’t need to be super fit, but you should be able to be active for a while. The pace of the tour will be adapted to the level of the participants.
Do I need to jump from the highest cliffs?
No. This is one of the nice things about coasteering. You can jump from as high as you like as you can always climb down a bit. No pressure ;)
Is this tour suitable for kids?
Depending on the fitness and ease of the kid, from 13 years can already be possible.
Do I need to know how to swim?
Yes, basic swimming skills are a must. You’ll not swim long distances, though and you’ll also be wearing a life vest for safety reasons.
Can this experience be done all year round?
Yes, we do these tours all year round, depending on the ocean and weather conditions. When it's cold, you'll wear a wetsuit, also for the SUP.
What happens if the tour is cancelled?
Sea experiences are subject to weather and sea conditions. If we expect the tour to be cancelled, we will get in touch with you to try to reschedule. Occasionally, it may happen that the experience is cancelled last minute. We’re sorry, this may happen as we value safety above all and the sea conditions are unforeseeable. If we don't manage to find a new compatible slot, you’ll be refunded.
