We will start the first part of the class on dry land. Bring what you would bring to the beach, and make sure you have an extra bottle of water for these hot Florida days. When you put the kayak in the water, there is always a chance of getting wet. Bring a waterproof dry bag to keep your valuables dry, or plan to leave them in your car.

If you have your own kayaking gear, bring it all. If you don't, we can give you a kayak and all the gear you need. This class meets no matter the weather! Only if lightning strikes will a class be moved to a different time. Please bring clothes that can get wet and dirty, water shoes, protection from the sun (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), glasses strap, towel, water, snacks, and sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen).
