The 5th edition of the Algarve Boat Festival will be an international one, with the renowned duo, Crazibiza, leading the line-up. Known for their chart-topping hits and widespread recognition in the USA, Crazibiza is set to bring their electrifying beats to this unforgettable event. It is on August 26th that the city of Lagos will host this unique concept of dancing at sea. SeaBookings, the Algarvian startup dedicated to maritime tourism, presents this highly anticipated annual event that brings together boat enthusiasts and house-music lovers, with the support of the Lagos municipality.
The Algarve Boat Festival is thrilled to announce its upcoming edition, set to take place on August 26th. As one of the premier music festivals in the Algarve region, this year’s event promises an extraordinary experience filled with exhilarating tunes, breathtaking scenery, and a vibrant atmosphere that will leave attendees with lasting memories.
The Algarve Boat Festival has gained a reputation as a must-attend event for locals and tourists across Portugal. With spectacular line-ups, it has become a highlight on the region’s social calendar. This year, the Festival presents an infectious lineup that’ll make some waves, with both renowned artists and rising stars: Crazibiza, DJ Sunlize and Luís Raposo on the sax!
The concept of the festival was born in 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, when SeaBookings organised a „drive-in cinema“ type of festival. The artists perform on the stage-boat and festival-goers join on their own or rented boat. The initiative proved to be a success with four editions that brought together hundreds of people in dozens of boats in front of the emblematic Dona Ana Beach.
There are three ways to join the festival:
- join a party boat, by simply booking a spot;
- rent a private boat for your group from a broad selection of boats for all budgets and tastes;
- bring your own boat.
The start of the event will be at 15h00, with a Festival Parade, from the Marina of Lagos to the Bay of Dona Ana Beach, where the boats will anchor. Witness a magnificent display of boats as they parade along the picturesque Algarve coastline. From sleek yachts to lively catamarans, this spectacle promises to be a visual feast for attendees and those watching from shore.
The Algarve Boat Festival is supported by the Municipality of Lagos and the Marina of Lagos. And the Port of Lagos, as well as the Maritime Police, will be present to assure a safe event.
