This sunset sailing cruise in New York will sail past One World Trade Center, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty The boat is America 2.0, a modern tribute to the first boat to win the America's Cup in 1851. It is 105 feet long and has a sail area of around 3,600 square feet. This sunset cruise is quite popular with couples (no "children" tickets are sold on sunset cruises).

One free drink (beer, wine, Champagne, or soft drink) is provided. There are additional beverages available for purchase. Seating has been assigned. On this sunset tour we will sail south from Chelsea Piers and along the Hudson River to Battery Park, passing by Ellis Island and sailing out to the Statue of Liberty. If the wind and time allows, we will sail to Governors Island, past the Financial District, and via the Buttermilk Channel.

Rain or shine, activity takes place, but within reason.  It is possible for the captain to cancel or postpone the trip up until the time it is scheduled to depart if the weather is considered to provide an unacceptable risk to the passengers' well-being or the enjoyment of the event. Extremely strong winds, fog, heavy rain, freezing temperatures, and other factors may all contribute to a cancellation decision.
