For 1.5 hours, you will be guided through the stunning Santa Rosa Sound, salt marshes, and Pirates Cove. The tour commences in darkness, but fear not, as our clear kayaks are equipped with LED lights to illuminate the water beneath you. Use your headlamp to explore the unique landscapes and uninhabited islands, and soak in the breathtaking scenery around you.
Upon reaching Pirates Cove, your guide will share with you the rich history of the area, including the legend of the peaceful cove, which is said to be haunted. You will also learn about the diverse wildlife and ecology of the region, making this a truly educational experience. Our tours are conducted in clear kayaks that can accommodate a maximum of 10 people, ensuring a personalized and intimate experience with our top-notch guides.
Whether you're a seasoned kayaker or a first-timer, our tour is suitable for all skill levels, and our tandem kayaks are designed for two paddlers. If your party has an odd number of people, we will happily accommodate a single kayaker. Safety is our top priority, and each guest will be required to wear a life jacket. We will provide a headlamp for additional safety, so you can fully enjoy your journey.
The package includes the use of crystal clear kayaks, experienced and CPR-certified tour guides, safety equipment, a kayak and boating safety lesson, and a glow necklace for added fun. Reservations are required for all tours, and we kindly ask that you refrain from smoking, vaping, or consuming alcohol during the tour. The minimum age to participate is five years old, and children aged 5-17 must be accompanied by an adult. The meeting point will be at 121 West Miracle Strip Parkway.
Our kayaks have a weight limit of 425 pounds per boat, with no more than 250 pounds per seat. Each of our kayaks is doubles or tandem, so you can share the experience with a friend or loved one.
