\"Stunning<\/a>
Stunning views over the city<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

O sunset boat trip in Lisbon<\/a> departs from the city center, Ribeira das Naus<\/strong>. This is, in my point of view a big advantage compared to departing from Bel\u00e9m, which can be quite a hassle to reach from the city center. After getting our ticket at the boat terminal of Cais do Sodr\u00e9, we walked to the boarding pontoon at Ribeira das Naus. Soon, the beautiful \u201cSeja Feliz<\/strong>\u201d, which means \u201cBe Happy\u201d arrived. This boat is a typical boat from the Tagus estuary from 1947<\/strong>. It was used to transport wine and meat from the South bench of Lisboa<\/a> to the Northern one. The boat was converted to a touristic vessel, with an engine, comfortable seats, inflatable rescue boats, life jackets and even a toilet on board. It can take up to 47 people!<\/span><\/p>\n

Two hours is enough to cruise along Terreiro do Pa\u00e7o to Santa Apol\u00f3nia and then turn and cruise all the way to the Tower of Bel\u00e9m<\/strong>. Along the way, the sunset boat trip in Lisbon passed by several\u00a0landmarks of the city. You can see the different neighbourhoods, like Baixa, Alfama, Cais do Sodr\u00e9, Santos and Bel\u00e9m<\/strong>. You can also observe some of the most emblematic monuments of town, like the Tower of Bel\u00e9m, Mosteiro dos Jer\u00f3nimos and the Monument of the Discoveries<\/strong>. In addition, some architectural highlights, like the 25th of April Bridge, MAAT Museum and the Champalimaud Foundation<\/strong> can be observed from the Tagus River.<\/span><\/p>\n

We did the tour as a couple and it’s ideal for families and groups of friends too!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

One thing we particularly liked on esta digress\u00e3o<\/a> was the staff. Si, Joana and Lu\u00eds<\/strong>, were constantly interacting with the people on board. Si knows a lot about the history of the city of Lisbon<\/strong> and proudly shares some interesting facts along this sunset boat trip. In the meantime, Joana and Lu\u00eds were manoeuvring the boat and serving us some water and a delicious cold white wine.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Lisbon. This sunset boat trip<\/a>\u00a0is the perfect way to end the day. Especially on a hot day, where the Tagus River has a delicious refreshing effect<\/strong>! On board of our tour were families with kids, groups of friends and couples. We\u2019re sure everybody loved it<\/strong>. You could see it by the beautiful smiles while we disembarked. Many thanks, Rui and his team for this great experience.
