Tenerife<\/span><\/a> is a true paradise for outdoor adventure lovers<\/strong>. We went with part of our team to visit Tenerife to get to know this island where we now also provide some great sea tours. As Tenerife has much more to offer than just sea tours, we\u2019d like to share our favorite must-do activities in Tenerife<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Hiking<\/a>
Hiking with a local guide is a must!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Our colleague Nathalie already wrote a <\/span>bom artigo sobre as melhores coisas para fazer em Tenerife<\/span><\/a>. In fact, most of the things we did while visiting this wonderful island are already listed there. <\/span><\/p>\n

1. Hiking<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

We love nature, and not only the sea, so we decided to explore the North Western part of the island a bit, by foot. Cao, a local guide from Anaga Experiences, took us for a 3-hour hike in the stunning Anaga mountains<\/strong>. We highly recommend hiking with a guide as you\u2019ll get to know so much about the local culture, nature and everything you want to know. Surely must-do activities in Tenerife for mountain lovers!<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Kayaking<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/h2>\n

In Tenerife, there are several kayak tours. There are two in Los Cristianos, one to go <\/span>find wild dolphins<\/span><\/a>, which Lianne did and tells us about <\/span>aqui<\/span><\/a>. And one to go <\/span>snorkeling with sea turtles<\/span><\/a>. We choose to do one to explore the impressive Anaga mountains from a different perspective, from Playa de Las Teresitas<\/a>. We\u2019ll share our experience soon, here on the blog.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Sailing<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

N\u00f3s went for an incredible sailing experience in Tenerife<\/a>, partindo de El Col\u00f3n<\/strong>. We\u2019ll share this unforgettable experience in detail soon! You can choose for a <\/span>half day tour<\/span><\/a>, a <\/span>passeio ao p\u00f4r do sol<\/span><\/a> ou um <\/span>private sailing tour<\/span><\/a>. It\u2019s up to you! Did you know it\u2019s almost for sure you\u2019ll find some wild whales and dolphins<\/strong> along the boat trip?<\/span><\/p>\n

4.\u00a0Mergulho com escafandro<\/a><\/strong><\/h2>\n

F\u00e1bio (SeaBookings\u2019 CTO) and Carla went to have their <\/span>first diving experience in Tenerife<\/span><\/a>. They had a blast. They say there\u2019s so much to see and even reminded them the colors and biodiversity they saw when they were snorkeling in Thailand! F\u00e1bio shared his memorable experience on the <\/span>blogue<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

5.\u00a0Submarine tour<\/a><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Yes, you can go exploring the underwater world without getting your hair wet! Lianne did this unique experience when she was visiting Tenerife. You can read her personal experience <\/span>aqui<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Horse riding is also a nice way to discover the island<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

6. Horse riding<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Femke, one of SeaBookings\u2019 co-founders, is crazy about horses. So, she grabbed the chance to go horse riding to explore the local nature on a natural way<\/strong>. She highly recommends <\/span>Horse Riding Adventures in Tenerife<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

7. Natural swimming pools<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Along the coast, you can find many natural swimming pools<\/strong>. They\u2019re great for snorkeling and for kids to enjoy the sea in a safe way. We really liked the natural pools around <\/span>Playa La Jaquita<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

By car you’re most flexible and can explore the Teide Natural Park<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

8. Driving up to Teide<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

This drive is definitely worth it. The scenery is simply unique, like you\u2019re on Mars! <\/span><\/p>\n
