Team building Regatta in Lisbon

This team building Regatta in Lisbon is an ideal and fun team building event for all types of companies. It motivates the employees and encourages communication and teamwork. It's challenging but everyone can enjoy regardless of the fitness level. The team building regatta in Lisbon is suitable for groups of any size. We recommend having maximum 8 participants in each boat for a demanding and fun challenge.

During the event, we want all participants to practice sailing and learn how to perform all the different functions within the boat. During the time on board participants will rotate between the 4 main functions on board the sailing boat during navigation. These functions are:

1 - Rudder; Governs the boat to the defined course. A person in the role.

2 - Large Sail; Trimimg of the big candle. Determines the position of the sail relative to the wind and boat. A person in the role.

3 - Sail Genoa; Triming of sail Genoa. Determines the position of the sail relative to the wind and boat. Two people in function.

4 - Navigation; Determines the current position and the direction to be taken for a given position. A person in the role.

These boats allow an extremely radical experience where fun and adrenaline are guaranteed. With a maximum capacity of 8 people per boat, the recommended capacity is 6 participants plus skipper and sailor. The group will be divided into smaller groups that will leave Belém on two, three or four (or more)  sailboats. The route will be defined on the same day, according to the wind conditions. We’ll set short distances forcing the boats to manoeuvre sharply and fast for at least 1 hour each race. After all the excitement, we'll take you on a relaxing sightseeing sailing tour to enjoy Lisbon from a unique perspective. 

This team building regatta in Lisbon starts and ends at Doca do Bom Sucesso in Belém (near Belem Tower), and during the regatta we will sail between Belem Tower and 25th April Bridge on the Tagus river, but it may change depending on the weather conditions.

Boarding and security briefing (10 minutes);

Boat acquaintance (10 minutes);

Hoist sails and training (25 minutes);

Regatta (120 minutes);

Sails down, entrance in the marina and landing (15 minutes);
