You will be kayaking and snorkeling at your own pace through Kaneohe Bay, where you will have the opportunity to see a variety of coral and possibly even some turtles. The barrier reef in Kaneohe Bay provides ideal kayaking and snorkeling conditions. This experience will continue to amaze you with its combination of mountain views and coral reefs.
We'll provide you with everything you need to discover the hidden gem of Oahu's windward side both above and below the water, with views of the mountains and offshore island Mokolii (Chinaman's Hat) and an abundance of live coral reef home to sea turtles and fish on your Kaneohe Bay Coral Reef Self-guided Kayaking Adventure.
The focus of this adventure is snorkeling the reefs of Kaneohe Bay. We make your snorkeling trip to Kaneohe Bay a breeze. We'll assist you in getting your kayak and beach gear ready so you can begin exploring the reef. We'll give you instructions and useful information right where you are to make sure you have a safe and fun time.
Snorkeling in Kaneohe Bay is essential to this adventure. You're missing out if you don't plan on snorkeling. This Kaneohe Bay kayaking trip lasts approximately 3 hours. Of course, if you were prepared, you could spend much longer out there, but we discovered that 3 hours was the sweet spot for the experience, from the seamless kayak and gear delivery to exploring the bay with your kayaks and snorkel gear.
You will have the opportunity to see spectacular views of the Ko'olau mountain range during this experience. Kayak to Waikane Pier and visit the "Hukilau Cafe," which was featured in the film "50 First Dates."
We will provide a 15-liter dry bag for items that need to be kept dry. Steps from where you meet us, you will launch the kayaks into Kaneohe Bay. We'll meet you in the parking lot of Waihole Nursery and Garden Center, and we'll have your kayaks and gear ready to go. We'll send you all of the meeting location information in your confirmation email, so there's no need to write it down. We've got your back!
