This boat tour to the Honorable William Wall is an incredible experience! Visit the floating clubhouse of the Manhattan Yacht Club. MYC was founded in 1987 and re-introduced recreational sailing to New York Harbor. In 2012, MYC opened the doors of its innovative clubhouse to the public in an effort to share our love of sailing with you.

Our clubhouse is the perfect platform to watch the sailing races, which take place every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings, and Saturday afternoons. The sailing season and our clubhouse is open from May through October. Our capacity is 149 people and we always open, even if the weather is not perfect.

Our upper deck is covered and our downstairs is fully enclosed. In the rare occurrence of a hurricane or other major storm, we may have to close and if we do, then we inform you in advance by email. Guests are allowed to bring their own picnic lunches and dinner. However, all drinks must be purchased on board.

Affectionately known as the “Willy Wall,” our clubhouse is an elegant steel barge with an open-air upper deck, and a fully enclosed lower level lounge. The Willy Wall is anchored in New York Harbor just north of Ellis Island. The location boasts spectacular views of the New York City skyline, the Statue of Liberty, and the surrounding waters. It has been featured in The New York Times, Time Out NY, the Village Voice and was voted Lower Manhattan's #1 Secret Treasure.

We are a family friendly venue, so your kid is welcome aboard. You must keep an eye on your children at all times since we are a vessel on the water. If you are bringing very young children, please also bring a life jacket for them. If you get cold, We have the iconic Honorable William Wall sweatshirts for sale. You can buy one and also become super hip as an “in-the-know-person,” especially if you wear it at other resort locations like the Hamptons, Martha’s Vineyard and the Caribbean.

We are always open, even if the weather is not perfect. Our upper deck is covered and our downstairs is fully enclosed. In the rare occurrence of a hurricane or other major storm, we may have to close, and if we do, then we inform you in advance by email. Like a baseball game, our tickets are non-refundable but you can give your ticket to another person.
