SeaBookings, een online marktplaats voor watersporten en boottochten in Portugal<\/strong> opgericht door twee Nederlandse zussen, zet de eerste stappen naar internationale expansie met de steun van <\/span>Turismo de Portugal<\/span><\/i>. <\/span>Turismo de Portugal<\/span><\/i><\/a> is de centrale overheidsinstantie die verantwoordelijk is voor de promotie, verbetering en duurzaamheid van toeristische activiteiten. In september 2016 was SeaBookings in S\u00e3o Paulo aan de <\/strong><\/span>Toerismebeurs ABAV<\/a><\/strong> op uitnodiging van <\/span>Turismo de Portugal<\/span><\/i>. De eerste helft van 2017 belooft ook veel goeds, aangezien we zullen deelnemen aan <\/span>Arabische Reismarkt<\/a><\/strong> in Dubai<\/strong>, opnieuw met <\/span>Turismo de Portugal<\/span><\/i>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Turismo de Portugal<\/span><\/i> heeft de sterke toewijding aan sde cultuur van ondernemerschap en innovatie in de toeristische sector stimuleren<\/strong> in Portugal. Het is in deze context dat <\/span>Turismo de Portugal<\/span><\/i> heeft wedstrijden gelanceerd om Portugese startups te selecteren die worden uitgenodigd om deel te nemen aan een reeks internationale toerismebeurzen waar <\/span>Turismo de Portugal<\/span><\/i> neemt deel met een eigen stand. Dit initiatief is bedoeld om de startups \u201cmarktkennis en internationale ervaring te bieden, zodat ze hun projecten met meer garantie op succes kunnen presenteren\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

SeaBookings op de ABAV \u201916<\/h1>\n

In de tweede helft van 2016 was het met grote vreugde dat SeaBookings het nieuws ontving dat het mocht deelnemen aan ABAV, de grootste toerismebeurs in Brazili\u00eb. Brazili\u00eb maakt al sinds de oprichting deel uit van het strategische internationaliseringsplan van SeaBookings. Deelnemen aan deze beurs zou een concrete eerste stap in die richting zijn. SeaBookings, dat zich richt op boottochten en watersporten in Portugal, wordt geconfronteerd met een sterke markt. seizoensgebonden<\/strong>. Onder andere om deze reden, het is logisch dat SeaBookings uitbreidt naar Brazili\u00eb<\/strong>. Door uit te breiden naar Brazili\u00eb kunnen we het hele jaar door zorgen voor een constante inkomstenstroom. Bovendien heeft Brazili\u00eb een enorm potentieel op het gebied van zeetoerisme.<\/span><\/p>\n

De deelname van SeaBookings aan de 44e ABAV bleek zelfs heel belangrijk te zijn voor contacten leggen met potenti\u00eble partners in Brazili\u00eb en andere Latijns-Amerikaanse landen<\/strong>. Op de beurs zelf had SeaBookings de gelegenheid om contacten te leggen met hotels, reisbureaus, media en andere entiteiten die zullen helpen om de business in Brazili\u00eb te versterken.<\/span><\/p>\n

Naast deelname aan de beurs maakte het team van SeaBookings van de reis naar Brazili\u00eb gebruik om een marktonderzoek uit te voeren. We bezochten verschillende badplaatsen tussen S\u00e3o Paulo en Rio de Janeiro om de realiteit van het maritieme toerisme in Brazili\u00eb bestuderen<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Hoe werken maritieme exploitanten? Wat is hun omvang?<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Hoe \u201cdigitaal\u201d zijn de maritieme operators? Hebben ze een website? Hebben ze een boekingssysteem? Hoe beheren ze hun boekingen?<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Waar komen klanten vandaan (welke kanalen en nationaliteit)?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    De de feedback van de Braziliaanse maritieme exploitanten over de activiteit van SeaBookings was zeer positief<\/strong> en het is een markt met een groot potentieel. De \u201convolwassenheid\u201d van deze markt heeft ons echter doen besluiten om Brazili\u00eb nog niet op de uitbreidingsagenda te zetten en eerst in te zetten op het Middellandse Zeegebied.<\/span><\/p>\n

    SeaBookings op de Arabische Reismarkt \u201917<\/h1>\n

    SeaBookings is een marktplaats en heeft met beide kanten van de markt te maken. Aan de ene kant hebben we het aanbod, met de maritieme exploitanten, aan de andere kant hebben we de vraag<\/strong>, met de toeristen. Van de kant van de toeristen werken we ook samen met reisbureaus. Gedurende de eerste jaren dat SeaBookings actief was, hebben we een groot potentieel op de Arabische markt, in termen van samenwerking met agentschappen.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    Daarom heeft SeaBookings een aanvraag ingediend voor deelname aan de Arabian Travel Market die plaatsvindt in april 2017. Opnieuw kon SeaBookings laten zien hoe belangrijk het zou zijn om deel te nemen aan deze beurs voor haar internationalisering en werd geselecteerd om deel te nemen. Zo ook in april van dit jaar, SeaBookings gaat naar Dubai om contacten te leggen met reisbureaus en andere entiteiten die de vraag naar SeaBookings op de Arabische markt kunnen stimuleren.<\/strong>. Daarnaast zullen we altijd een oogje in het zeil houden om maritieme operators uit het Midden-Oosten te ontmoeten voor een toekomstige uitbreiding naar deze regio.<\/span><\/p>\n

    We willen publiekelijk bedanken <\/span>Turismo de Portugal<\/span><\/i> voor hun toewijding en steun aan Portugese startups bij hun internationalisatie. Wij geloven dat de deelname van SeaBookings aan deze beurzen het mogelijk maakt om de zichtbaarheid van het maritieme toerisme in Portugal te vergroten<\/strong>, nieuwe toeristen aan te trekken en de internationalisering van het SeaBookings-aanbod voor te bereiden. We zijn erg dankbaar dat we twee keer op rij zijn geselecteerd om deel te nemen aan internationale beurzen.
