Are you ready for a Tour to Saona Island on a motorized catamaran?

Interested in discovering the southern part of Saona Island? Come with us and visit the typical fishermen village of Mano Juan and the paradisiacal beach of Canto de la playa, far from the crowds. Our motorized catamaran is suitable and safe for the whole family. Of course we will not miss the famous Natural Pool!

This tour is organized on our motorized catamaran and each detail will make that day the best of your holidays. We take care of everything, all you have to do is relax and enjoy the tour!

Departure from your hotel whether you are in Bayahibe / Dominicus, Punta Cana / Bavaro or Juan Dolio / Boca Chica. When you have booked and as soon as the deposit has been paid, we will send you a voucher with meeting place and time.

We will be waiting for you in Bayahibe, starting point of the excursion, to get on our motorized catamaran which is suitable for all family.

Let's go to the Cotubanama National Park! We will first pass in front of the Penon where our English-speaking guide will give you some information about the history of this cliff and the famous indigenous Tainos, the first inhabitants of the island.
Then we will discover the mangroves which are trees growing in seawater.

Here we are! First stop on Saona Island, at the village of Mano Juan. Walking, we will go through Mano Juan to get a glimpse of local life on a paradise island, its inhabitants, their colorful houses, their typical small shops.
Of course we will not miss the turtle nursery, a project owned by a local family. With very limited funds, they take care of incubation of the eggs during laying period, then they release the baby turtles at sea. It is not 100% guaranteed to see hatchlings, it will depend on the season and the hatching cycle.

Mealtime has come! We will eat in a restaurant with a splendid view on Saona beach. For you, a delicious Dominican meal. Lobster is available in season (July 1 to February 29) at the additional price of $ 20.USD per person.

After lunch, we will leave for the most remote and dream beach of the island, CANTO DE LA PLAYA, where we will spend 2 hours relaxing, enjoying the beach and snorkeling.

We will finish the great day at the famous Natural Pool where we can see huge starfishes (be careful we cannot touch them, but only see them and take pictures). There we will have a swim in the shallow waters and drink a Dominican rum while enjoy the place.
Return to the port of Bayahibe with wonderful memories, where your transport will be waiting for you.

Departure of this excursion is scheduled around 9:00 a.m. for a return around 5:00 p.m. Maximum on board: 27 people

We hebben uitrusting aan boord om te kunnen snorkelen;
