This tailored private surf lesson in Santa Cruz will include topics like safety and proactive condition evaluation, entering and exiting the water, as well as lining up. We will cover etiquette in the line-up We will evaluate and discuss Equipment, its advantages and disadvantages. After we will do an Equipment selection (boards, fins, leashes, wax, suits, booties etc.). On land we will talk about many topics, including pop up techniques and mechanical breakdown, paddling techniques & duck diving. Everything to be safe in the water.
We can help you make plans for fitness and training and even film and photographs service is available (upon advance request). Our instructors are certified in first aid and CPR. Your wetsuit and surfboard are included in your lesson. You will have the option of selecting one of Our Professional Surf Coaches: Sam Coffey, Ryan Augenstein – Auggy, Griffin Wright, Koa Depuydt, Mairin Torr, Miles Torr or Alo Slebir.
