Are you ready for a fall foliage cruise from Chelsea Piers?
Admire the last leaves of fall in all their splendor through the open deck of our ship’s covered viewing area, or while catching the breeze on her bow. Observe New York's most dramatic natural wonders and colorful foliage as the seasons change with a hot beverage in hand. Step aboard the yacht Full Moon, our cozy, elegant, fully restored 1950 Grebe Yacht, as we travel north out of Chelsea Piers, up the Hudson River viewing the West Side of Manhattan, under the George Washington Bridge and take in the Fall Foliage of Palisades Park.
The yacht Full Moon offers comfortable seating, on a small intimate classic yacht with un-obscured views for all! The back observatory is covered to protect you from the bright sun but open for you to feel the fresh breeze in your hair! Guests are welcome on the forward deck as well to soak in the sun and to score fantastic photographs of the city skyline! The main seating area is not climate controlled so please dress accordingly.
It's not possible to bring your own food and drink but one complimentary drink (beer, wine, Champagne or soft drink) is offered. Additional beverages are available for purchase. Also note that we welcome families, but this boat is not suitable for children under 5. Please consider one of our larger yachts for accommodating young children.
Peak fall foliage is not guaranteed. We have seen fall colors at their peak as early as mid-October and as late as early December along the waterfront in the Palisades of New Jersey (the prime destination of our fall foliage excursions). Seating is assigned (If you are purchasing tickets separately from other members of your party, please use the “notes” field while booking to indicate with whom you would like to be seated.)
Along the way on this 2.5-hour cruise you will be able to see the beautiful Upper West Side of Manhattan, Riverside Cathedral, Grant's Tomb and the Cloisters, the majestic George Washington Bridge and the Little Red Lighthouse and the cliffs of Palisades Park, one of New York's most dramatic geological features
