With our 100% clear kayaks, you'll have a view like no other as we paddle through the protected mangrove estuary and tunnels, all the way to the crystal-clear waters of Anna Maria Sound and Tampa Bay. And the best part? You'll even get a glimpse of the iconic Sunshine Skyway Bridge!
The meeting point will be at Robinson Preserve and this experience has a maximum capacity of 10 participants. This 2.5-hour journey is perfect for beginners and first-time paddlers, and our small group tours mean that paddlers of all levels can join in on the fun. But don't be fooled - the length and occasional tides of the paddle require an intermediate level of physicality, so get ready for a workout! And if conditions allow, we'll even have the chance to explore a sandbar and take a dip in the water.
But the real highlight of this ecotour is the wildlife. From roseate spoonbills to white pelicans during the winter, fish, manatees, dolphins, eagle rays, and more, you'll be in awe of the vast amount of bird and aquatic life that call this area home. And with our team of experienced guides, you'll learn all about manatees, dolphins, and other marine life, while fostering a commitment to education, stewardship, and responsible ecotourism. Plus, a portion of each reservation is donated to marine habitat and wildlife conservation, so you can feel good about your adventure!
Robinson Preserve is a secluded kayaking oasis that has been restored and preserved with the goal of learning more about the important ecosystems that surround it. And with our commitment to education and responsible ecotourism, you'll leave with a sense of appreciation for the beauty of Florida's wildlife and ecosystems.
But before you book, there are a few important things to note. Reservations are required for all tours, and alcohol and smoking are not permitted. We also have a weight limit of 250 pounds per paddler, with a combined weight limit of 425 pounds per kayak. And while we can't guarantee the color or visibility of the water due to various factors, we're always happy to chat with you about current conditions and help you pick the best tour time for you. Finally, while we can't guarantee wildlife sightings on every tour, we'll do our best to take you to the areas where they're most active.
