8 Days Surf Camp in Lisbon

This 8 Days Surf Camp in Lisbon combines accommodation at central Lisbon as well as travel seekers guided tours of evasion, adrenaline, contact with nature, tradition, food, and physical activity, integrating the guests into the traditional Portuguese day life. It is suitable for al levels of surf, from 18y to 65 years old.

The Camp is located in the most accessible and central part of Lisbon, the São Domingos de Benfica neighborhood. Once filled with farms, now is a traditional neighborhood, where the hustle of the bustling streets blends smoothly into the calm and simplicity of the residential zones.

Surf and Bodyboard Lessons will take place at the long sand beaches of Costa da Caparica. It is a place of a unique natural heritage, inserted in the Protected Landscape of the Fossil Cliff of Caparica. This coastline receives swells of all kinds. It is a consistent surf area, offering a variety of waves for all levels of surfing experience, from beginners to advanced surfers in search of perfect waves.

This Surf Camp includes a welcome Gift, 7 nights of accommodation at private room with breakfast and daily housekeeping. Seven 2 hour Surf or Bodyboard Sessions with all gear included (as per option booked), local guide and surf instructor, all transfers to the beach and return. Everyday Video analysis of the sessions ( HD water footage ) are also included. In case of unfavorable conditions for surfing a Sightseeing / Trekking at Lisbon, Caparica, and Arrábida Natural Park regions is included.

The house is placed in a traditional building with a cozy atmosphere and different room types that make you feel at home, always spotless. It can accommodate up to four guests in two splendid private rooms with a balcony, all sharing a comfortable bathroom. The house is fully equipped with air conditioned rooms, dining area, living room, kitchen, microwave, coffee machine, free Wifi, cable TV, bath towels and laundry. You have access to all the common areas such as the fully equipped kitchen where breakfast is served daily. Stay at the city house with all the facilities you can imagine and we will take you to the best spots around Lisbon. This is the ideal place to relax after a day of surfing and sightseeing

Itinerary: 08:00 - Breakfast at Accommodation - 09:00 - Departure to the beach - 09:30 - Surf session starts - 11:30 - End of surf session and free time at the beach - 12:30 - Departure back to Lisbon - 13:00 - Drop-of at accommodation and free time to lunch, to visit the city, do other experiences, or to relax - 21:00 - Video analysis of the daily surf sessions, and small briefing for the next day - 22:00 - Free time to rest. The Surf Camp in Lisbon doesn't include meals, equipment rental and airport transfer.

To join us on this experience you must be confident to swim in ocean waves. Surfing is a sport that requires a reasonable level of physical fitness - Surf sessions are subject to favorable weather/sea conditions. If canceled, each session will be replaced with a sightseeing and/or a walking excursions (Lisbon, Cascais, and Caparica region included).
