The meeting point of this boat tour in São Miguel is at the Marina of Vila Franca do Campo for check-in. The journey will start with a briefing to teach you about the local Cetaceans (Whales and Dolphins) and other species, their natural habitat, communication, migration, behavioural patterns, and onboard safety. Did you know we have a lookout high inland in the mountains to help us find wildlife?
The staff at the lookout will then locate our friends, and provide directions. We’ll approach the dolphins slowly and carefully while you’ll be informed about the species. Please feel free to ask anything at any time. We’re happy to share our passion for the sea! Upon return to the Marina, the boat will tour around the Islet of Vila Franca do Campo, for a close look at this characteristic volcanic rock formation and local wildlife.
