This Snorkeling on Catalina Island is the ideal choice for those who likes underwater life and sailing. This island is the least visited, so its seabeds are very rich in fishes and corals. We highly recommend it since it is perfect for the whole family. This tour is organized on our sail catamaran and each detail will make that day the best of your holidays. We take care of everything, all you have to do is relax and enjoy the tour!
Departure from your hotel whether you are in Bayahibe / Dominicus, Punta Cana / Bavaro or Juan Dolio / Boca Chica. We will pick you up(with an extra fee) from your hotel with a transport organized by us. When you have booked, we will send you a voucher with meeting place and time. We will be waiting for you in Bayahibe, starting point of the excursion, to get on our sail catamaran which is suitable for all family.
Our first stop will be ''the Wall'' a snorkeling spot that is about 30 feet deep. No worries, you will be perfectly supervised so that the whole family, even beginners, can appreciate the colourful fishes! The more daring will be able to explore this incredible underwater relief, the most spectacular in the region.
We will then leave for a second snorkeling stop near Catalina beach ''the Aquarium'' which is about 4 meters deep. Here snorkeling is also adapted to the whole family. For more fun, you will even have the opportunity to jump from the boat! Finally, it's time for lunch! On Catalina beach, you will have around 2h30 to relax, lounging, swimming and more snorkeling for those who want.
Then, we will get back on our sail catamaran and continue our way for a completely different setting... You have undoubtedly heard about moovies RAMBO II, ANACONDA and KING KONG? You will be impressed by the Chavon river where some scenes of these movies had been shot. Lights...camera...action! Green and sumptuous nature, calm and tranquility make that place unique.
We will come back sailing along the coast seeing Casa de Campo multi-millionaire's villas to finally arrive in Bayahibe where your transport will be waiting for you. Boat departure is scheduled around 9:00 am for a return around 5:00 pm. Maximum of 30 people on board. Let's go to Catalina Island which is also part of Cotubanama National Park.
