This PADI Advanced Freediver Course in Riviera Beach is a two day course of 7 hours each, consisting of three main phases: Knowledge development, Confined water sessions and Open water sessions. At the end of the course you'll have refined and improved your freediving skills! In addition to in-water training, students will receive photos and videos from dives with instructions for optimizing technique.
Knowledge development: Learn about advanced freediving techniques and equipment. You’ll study independently using the PADI Freediver eLearning in addition to a classroom session where your instructors will discuss in depth advanced Freediving techniques including breathing, meditation, relaxation, equalization, and more. Additional yoga/stretching workshops will be held to illustrate the importance of training for Freediving,
During the confined water sessions you'll learn stretching and relaxation techniques as well as refine static and dynamic apnea. On the open water sessions you'll practice deeper free immersion and constant weight freedives, along with additional buddy procedures and rescue techniques.
Please bring freediving mask, snorkel, fins, weight belt, weights and wetsuit for this course. To enroll in a PADI Advanced Freediver course you must be at least 15 years old and have a PADI Freediver certification (or a qualifying certification from another freediver organization).
