Yes, we love Barcelona. \u00a0We went there last weekend and had a blast. I would like to share my top things to do in Barcelona<\/strong> with you. I must admit I\u2019m a bit biased towards sea activities, but of course, I also share some other tips.<\/span><\/p>\n

My top 5 things to do in Barcelona<\/span><\/h2>\n

Enjoy some nice tapas!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

1. Eat tapas and drink sangria<\/span><\/h3>\n

Of course one of the things to do in Barcelona is to eat. We have several favorite spots in Barcelona for some tapas and sangria<\/strong>. My friend and colleague Lianne recommends De Tapa Madre<\/strong><\/em>. But as we were not nearby when we were looking for tapas, we went to a place we found on our way to Museu d’Art Contemporani<\/strong> de Barcelona. We went to Restaurant Elisabets<\/strong> <\/em>and found a true authentic experience. The wine is great and tastes even better with some nice garlic mushrooms, tortilla and patatas bravas. <\/span><\/p>\n

We also liked Alsur Caf\u00e9 & Backdoor Bar<\/strong> next to Parc de la Ciutadella<\/strong> for some nachos and sweet potato patatas bravas.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Visit La Sagrada Familia<\/span><\/h3>\n

Yes, it\u2019s one of the true must things to do in Barcelona. The Sagrada Familia<\/strong> is one of the most impressive buildings I\u2019ve ever seen. Some areas of the Basilica are currently undergoing rehabilitation works but it\u2019s still amazing. Personally, I don\u2019t think it\u2019s worth to go up to the towers. Don\u2019t forget to buy your ticket <\/span>online<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Stroll around El Poblenou like a local<\/span><\/h3>\n

One of my favorite ways to explore a city is simply to feel its vibe by strolling around. While wandering around Barcelona we stumbled upon this very authentic, cool and cute district – El Poblenou<\/strong>. Poblenou is an old industrial neighborhood that is constantly changing and improving. You\u2019ll still find charming smokestacks scattered throughout the area. The Rambla del Poblenou<\/strong> hosts several local restaurants, bars, cafes and small shops for those who want to stroll the day away in a relaxed atmosphere.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. Discover a different view on a <\/span>boat trip in Barcelona<\/span><\/a><\/h3>\n

Of course, I had to mention a boat trip or two in this list of best things to do in Barcelona. There are several options, for all budgets and schedules<\/strong>. If you\u2019re on a tight budget or short of time, you can do a <\/span>boat trip in Barcelona<\/span><\/a> for only 30 minutes and 10\u20ac per person. If you have a little longer, you can do 60 minutes for 15\u20ac or even 90 minutes for 18\u20ac. Just enjoy!<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Feel like the owner of a luxury sailing yacht in Barcelona<\/span><\/h3>\n

Este <\/span>private sunset sailing tour in Barcelona<\/span><\/a> is great for couples or a group of close friends who want to have some quality time together. Along the trip, we will sail along some of the s\u00edmbolos m\u00e1s emblem\u00e1ticos de la ciudad<\/strong>. You will enjoy a beautiful sunset with a good glass of wine\/cava in your hand. There\u2019s time for a refreshing dive in the sea if you want to. You can book this private sunset sailing tour in Barcelona for 2 or 3 hours. Our sailing yacht can take up to 11 people<\/strong> and we have seats in the sun or in the shade!<\/span><\/p>\n
