Our experienced Captains have over four decades of experience and are eager to share their knowledge with you. With a small-group atmosphere, you'll have a personal and intimate tour where you can take in the beauty of the sea while learning about Hawaiian folklore and history from our naturalist Captain. This award-winning tour lasts for 4 hours.
The boat will depart from Honokohau Harbor and our destination is Kealakekua Bay, a National Marine Park and home to the Captain Cook Monument. This bay is one of Hawaii's top snorkel spots, with crystal-clear waters and tranquil conditions.
We provide everything you need, including high-quality silicone masks, Rx masks, fins, float boards, or vests, and detailed instructions. While en route, savor a tropical snack of fresh pineapple, fruits, chips, cookies, and refreshing soft drinks while the crew tells you about Hawaiian history. Keep your eyes peeled for dolphins, manta rays, turtles, and other marine life, as they're frequent visitors to the area.
Our Zodiac boats are quick-moving and agile, providing the best way to explore the marine environment. Only the Zodiacs can get close to the many lava tubes, sea caves, sea grottos, and wave-powered blowholes. Learn about the island's geology and lava flows as the Captains share their knowledge with you. Please note that for safety reasons, we do not allow anyone with back or neck problems or pregnant women on our tour.
Our rafts can accommodate up to 16 passengers, and we're happy to accommodate larger groups with multiple rafts! If you have a group of more than 16 people, contact us to arrange it.
