This adventure will take you kayaking from Maui's lovely Olowalu Beach, watching Humpback Whales, snorkeling with gigantic sea turtles, and admiring the majestic West Maui Mountains.
Kayak along the sands of picturesque Olowalu Beach and take in the breathtaking vistas of the West Maui Mountains. Snorkel with massive sea turtles and thousands of colorful tropical fish! From January through mid-April, whales can be seen in the Hawaiian Islands' National Humpback Whale Marine Sanctuary's offshore seas. Hear whales converse, maneuver, and sing live from an underwater microphone during your trip... Near encounters are regular!
Our skilled guides have years of kayaking and diving experience in Hawaiian waters. Hawaii Marine Naturalists who have received American Red Cross CPR, First-Aid, and Lifeguard certification. On each excursion, experts teach and explain whale behavior, marine science, and the history of the island.
Olowalu Beach-Honoapiilani Hwy 30, mile 14.5 (1/2 mile east of the Olowalu General Store and Farmers Market) is where the tour begins and concludes. The tour comes with high-quality snorkeling gear, life jackets, fish identification cards, bottled water, and healthy snacks. You can also rent HD underwater digital cameras.
