Each kayak can only hold two persons. Solo kayakers must be 14 years old or older. All participants must be at least five years old.
Your guide will be there to teach you. Consider your level of physical fitness - you'll be paddling for 90 minutes! Dress appropriately for the weather, and remember that you will be paddling (sports attire or bathing suits are acceptable). You will get mildly wet from the paddles' water drips.
We would not recommend bringing your phone on board. If you do, you run the danger of it getting lost, broken, or wet. This is not a rental but rather a guided kayak tour. Your guide will walk you along Broad Creek, offering information about the area's natural history and fauna! We paddle in sit-on-top ocean kayaks. You must use our tools (insurance requirement.)
