Kaulahao Beach
If you have transportation while staying in Kahului, make sure to make the short drive of 15 minutes to visit Kaulahao Beach. The access is very easy, and the beach itself is super beautiful, thanks to the sand and palm trees surrounding it. It’s a great beach for swimming, and it’s actually famous because there are a lot of sea turtles to be found. If you visit in the afternoon, chances are very high that you will get to see some of the beautiful turtles, and if you’re lucky you can even swim with them! 

Stable Road Beach
This hidden gem is a beautiful little beach just east of Kahului town. It’s a rather small beach, but thanks to the protected bay, it has pretty calm waters. This makes it a fantastic beach for swimming and for families with kids. You can do snorkeling in the shallow water and simply enjoy relaxing on the sand surrounded by lush green nature. It’s a calm beach and usually doesn’t have a lot of crowd, so perfect if you’re seeking some peace and quiet!
