All rentals come with a paddle and a life jacket, and if you need additional riders, they are available for just $15 each. Don't forget to bring along a towel, change of clothes, water, sunscreen, and a waterproof pouch for your valuables. Make sure to wear something dry wicking, a bathing suit or board shorts, and a hat to protect yourself from the sun.
Early mornings and evenings are usually the best times to paddle, and it's recommended to check the wind forecast before heading out. To ensure the best experience, especially for beginners, try to paddle when the winds are less than 10-12 mph.
Remember, it's your responsibility to check with the local lifeguards to know the rules and regulations of launching watercraft at each beach. Our Waterfront Concession in Dewey Beach is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from the first weekend in October through Labor Day, weather permitting.
